The 2012 golf season is soon underway and as a progresive, vibrant golf club, Ravenmeadow Golf Club has this dedicated area on the web site to bring news and views to members and visitors. Each section has a dedicated area which we hope to keep updated with news.

RAVENMEADOW 2011 HIGHLIGHTS
Captains Choice Player of the Year 2011
The first ever Captains Choice trophy, sponsored by Data Creator, goes to a player who has excelled in all aspects of his game and within the club. It was a simple choice to pick Dave Broad as Player opf the year after he took a keen interest in the Mens Section, helping on the commitee with scoring capture. His handicap way 28 in May 2011 and through hard work he finnished the year on 15. A great effort from an all round great gent.

2011 Captains Cup and Winter Classic
This year the Captains Cup and the Winter Classic was won by non other than Jamie Marshman. He had a fabtastic round in the Captains Cup to win with a Gross 73 nett 59 on the day. He was also on form during the Winter Classic with a great 43 points off 13. He has spent alot of time working on his game and it is showing. At the start of December he is now down to a 9 Handicap. Well done Jamie, hard work does pay off.
2011 Mens Championships
The Mens Club Championship was played on the 7th August over 36 holes. The Club Champion is Alex Laughlan with a gross 150 and the Handicap Champion is Paul Kemp with a Nett 127. Well done to the winners and all the players who took part on the Day. Special Thanks to the groundstaff and Richard Markham for the sign on the first tee.
